Update Owner Record (Co-Owner)

Working with multiple windows When you click on a link, hold this key down to:
  • CTRL: Open a new TAB within the current browser window
  • SHIFT: Open a new Browser Window
Quick Search Options User
  • In all windows, right frame has box for entering any portion of first or last name, or of vendor organization name.
  • In User Management Window, additional search in top left of page (enter same data as noted above)
Unit
  • In Unit Management Window, search box at top left of page (Enter start of address)

Request or Inquiry/Work Order (open or closed)
  • Current Requests (top or bottom table, resort as desired)
  • Reports... enter the relevant # and the item will be returned regardless of open  or closed.
Send HTML formatted text with Bulk Email (converting Word to HTML Text)
Send a link from Builk Email Embed the link and the "visual" text within the code below. In the exmaple below, the visual text is "click here". Copy/Paste the updated code nto the Bulk Email message,

Re-Using User Records IF a user has NO unit or requests or work orders assocaited with it (EVER!!!)... the record can be dis-abled and re-used in the future. Re-using records will keep the system as clean as possible since records can NOT be deleted, they can only be dis-abled.

To identify a record as re-usable,
  • Disable the record first (this has to be done as a separate action.)
  • Open the disabled record.
  • Change the first name to reflect the date: xx.xx.xx.# and an additional number for multiple occurances in one day.
  • Change the last name to Z-Empty (this causes all records with last name Z-Empty to sort together).
  • Change the record type to OWNER (yes, vendors, management, administrators and board members can be changed to a simple owner).
  • DELETE ALL additional information (contact, login, comments, etc.)
  • Add this to the comments: User record is available for re-use.
